Married: Bonnie and Derek

It is Monday morning and we couldn't think of a better way to start off this week then by sharing this stunning wedding with you. We coordinated Bonnie and Derek's wedding last year and it was truly a lovely day to be a part of. Stunning, this is the one word that comes to mind on how to describe the wedding and the bride. The brides dress, her hair, the love the couple had glowing from them, the venue, it was all simply stunning!

Bonnie got ready at the Frederic Fekkai salon at the Brazilian Court Hotel and we can't tell you how many guests stopped in and commented on how beautiful the bride was. The orchid in her hair was such an elegant addition. Isn't her smile above the perfect photo of a happy bride.

Truly one of our favorite moments during a wedding is when the bride and groom see each other for the first time, whether this is before the ceremony or during the ceremony. The smile that Derek has on his face is so priceless when he saw Bonnie for the first time.

A little rain during photos provided a beautiful backdrop to their photos in Palm Beach. As they say, rain on your wedding day can often be good luck;)

Bonnie and Derek exchanged vows at The Royal Poinciana Chapel and had their reception following at the stunning Palm Beach historic Flagler Museum The Flagler Museum is one of our favorite venues in Palm Beach, it provides such an elegant backdrop for a wedding!

Congratulations to the Newlyweds!

Custom Save the Date Maps

We love working with couples to create unique and personalized Save the Dates. Save the dates are an informal, fun and creative way to share your wedding details with your guests. One of our favorite things to create are making customized maps for our brides and grooms. A customized map can have all of the details for your guests: the reception venue, the church, the welcome reception etc. We also think it is the perfect piece of art for you to have to remember your wedding day!

Below are two maps that we created for weddings in Palm Beach and we are still LOVING!

An Election Themed Birthday

We have been so excited to share these photos with you! A few months ago we designed an election themed birthday party at the Brazilian Court Hotel and it was so much fun to plan, design and execute. Below are the photos from Ann's Election birthday party. Thank you Tom Rollo from Grace Photography for capturing the birthday celebration.

The theme of the event was an Election party, we wanted to create a fun atmosphere that would remind guests of campaign parties: balloons, bumper stickers, red, white and blue flags. We covered all of the chairs with very Americana star printed spandex chair covers and placed royal blue sequin table linens throughout the room.

We created centerpieces that were a pave of red and white carnations and wrapped the vases in American striped ribbon. All of the tables had election themed paraphernalia with the guest of honors election printed on it: buttons, bumper stickers and fans.

We incorporated the election theme throughout the entire day, even the escort card table had election bunting placed on the front.

The birthday girl is very big into the political Washington scene and in replace of table numbers we decided to name the tables after politicians she had met throughout her life. We loved looking through Ann's real photos of her and past presidents! No these were not photo shopped, these are the real deal, fun wasn't it!

We were glad to see that some guests came dressed in Americana themed attire!

Ann was surrounded by over 100 of her closest Palm Beach friends and family for a memorable afternoon.

One of the highlights of the afternoon was the surprise performance of the Washington DC based troupe of Congressional Staffers turned performers, The Capitol Steps. The entire room was laughing hysterically with the performances by Nancy Pelosi, Newt Gingrich's wives and even Obama stopped by!

It was a really fabulous afternoon at the Brazilian Court, topped with the delicious lunch from Daniel Boulud's Cafe Boulud. We didn't leave a crumb behind on this cake!

Thank you to all of our wonderful vendors we teamed up with! Happy Birthday Ann!

40th Birthday Bash

We were so excited to be a part of Angela's 40th birthday party back in February! Angela came to us with the idea that she wanted to celebrate her birthday at her house in Delray surrounded by family and friends. However, celebrating at her home did not mean a small low key affair, Angela was thinking more of a birthday bash, and we helped her vision come together for a great evening to remember.

Sugar Chef made the delicious cupcakes and we created the custom Lucite tower with crystals for the display.

The decor for the evening was black and white with pops of red. Linens for the tables were sequined cloths which added to the celebration feel for the evening. We worked with Tent Logix to create a custom clear dance floor that was placed over the pool and a clear tent. Guests got had a blast dancing the night away outside.

Angela has always loved Rod Stewart, so it was a clear choice that she wanted to have a Rod Stewart band at her party. We had Hot Rod perform and he was a hit, from the beginning to the end. Unfortunately it was a cold and chilly evening, but with Hot Rod performing, you would have never guessed, because inside the tent guests were dancing all night long.

All guests were asked to wear red, black and white to the party, and they followed the dress code exactly! We loved the guests red Converse for the evening!

Thank you Angela for having us be a part of your birthday celebration! It was a blast!
