TPC Social Events: A Perfect Birthday Palette

Alex called us a few weeks ago looking for some help planning a fabulous birthday bash. Alex’s father, the birthday boy, is a highly respected artist in Miami and loves everything involving art! So naturally we had to have his party in a penthouse art gallery, overlooking the island. What a great setting and an amazing view!

Of course you know we couldn’t let the art theme stop with the venue! Each table was named after a famous artist and was handwritten on a ceramic artist’s palette. Each place setting included a hand painted stone place card, a custom menu created exclusively by our design team and was topped off with and a small pearlesque handled paintbrush.

Alex wanted a black and white theme, so Trina suggested a pop of yellow to liven things up. The bright yellow calla lily centerpieces beautifully complimented the modern feel of the room and brought a fun punch of color to the monochromatic tables.

The 50 or so guests were greeted at the door by models with cocktails and appetizers and were entertained by a magician until dinner was served. A great time was had by all!

**A special thanks has to go to the fabulous team at C’est Si Bon Catering for the delicious food and great service!

TPC Weddings: Chris and Merril

Chris and Merril’s wedding day started out looking a little bit cloudy but everything cleared just in time for the gorgeous sunset ceremony. After exchanging some of the most touching vows we’ve ever heard (seriously!) the bride and groom were officially announced as husband and wife!

Afterward guests mingled in the Brazilian Court’s beautiful courtyard for the cocktail hour. Meanwhile the ballroom was transformed into a beautiful candlelit setting with an intimate royal seating set up for Chris and Merril’s 50 or guests. Gorgeous pink peonies and crystal lined the tables, which were draped with yummy chocolate colored pintuck linens. It was absolutely breathtaking!

As a wedding planner you see a lot of different personalities when it comes to brides. You of have crazy brides, emotional brides, flighty brides, etc. Merril was the perfect bride. An event planner herself, Merril had every detail planned to down the hot pink rhinestone-lined placecards. If she lived here, we’d hire her in a heartbeat.

And of course part of Merril’s “amazingness” has to come from the awesome support system she has to lean on. Her groom, Chris, is such a sweet guy and truly knows how to make Merril relax and enjoy herself. And we just can’t say enough about each of their families. They truly made us feel so comfortable and obviously know how to throw a great party!

A special thanks goes to all the amazing vendors TPC partnered with: The Brazilian Court and Café Boulud, Tom Mathieu & Co. Florals, Peter Toth Photography, Elle at The Frédéric Fekkai Salon and Amici Ristorante.
